Pricing & Reservations
Pricing depends on the piece of equipment and the duration of the rental. For some items we offer a 4-hour rate, while for most larger machines the minimum is a full day rate. The best way to see current pricing is to browse our equipment catalog online — pricing is listed for each item.
The more notice you can give us the better, especially during busy seasons. That said, a few days is typically enough if you are flexible on timing. If you have a firm project start date, we recommend reserving as early as possible to make sure the equipment you need is available when you need it.
Yes — you can browse our full equipment catalog and submit a reservation request online anytime. Once we receive your request we will review it, confirm there are no conflicts, and approve the rental. You will hear back from us before anything is finalized.
We accept credit and debit cards for payment.
Yes. For many smaller tools and equipment we offer a 4-hour minimum rental. For larger machines such as excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, and lifts, the minimum rental period is one full day.
Delivery & Pickup
Yes — we deliver! We offer equipment delivery directly to your jobsite, farm, or property. Delivery cost is based on mileage from our Beloit location. We also understand that if there is a rental store closer to your project, their delivery cost may be more competitive — and we always want you to make the best decision for your job.
We typically deliver within a 100-mile radius of our Beloit, Ohio location, which covers most of Northeast Ohio. If you are unsure whether your project falls within our delivery area, give us a call and we will figure it out with you.
All equipment must be returned to our Beloit location during business hours. If we delivered the equipment to you, we will handle the pickup as well — just coordinate the return timing with us when your project is complete.
You will need a valid driver's license, your payment method, and a proper vehicle capable of hauling the equipment you are renting. If you are unsure what you need to tow a specific piece of equipment, call us ahead of time and we will walk you through it. If we are delivering to you, we take care of the transport on our end.
Equipment & Operation
Experience will definitely help you work faster and get better results, but it is not required. Whenever you pick up equipment from us we always take the time to show you how to operate it before you leave. And if questions come up while you are on the job, we are just a phone call away.
A scissor lift raises a platform straight up and down, making it ideal for overhead work directly above the machine. A boom lift has an extendable boom that telescopes out, allowing you to reach greater heights and work over obstacles. If you need to get up and over something — a roofline, a tree, or any obstruction — a boom lift is the right tool. If you are working straight overhead on a flat surface, a scissor lift will do the job.
It depends on your project and the space you are working in. Our 2-ton mini excavator works great for tight spaces and drainage work where a larger machine simply will not fit. Our 4-ton is our most popular size — it handles just about anything including foundation repairs, grading, digging out stumps, new foundations, site prep, drainage work, and much more. Our 6-ton is built for larger projects such as demo work, bigger stump removal, larger excavation jobs, and heavy site prep. It also features an angle blade that makes grading fast and efficient. Not sure which size is right for your job? Give us a call and we will help you figure it out.
A telehandler is essentially a large forklift with an extendable boom — it is designed to lift and move materials such as pallets, lumber, and roofing supplies around a jobsite or farm. A boom lift has a basket on an extendable boom that lifts people safely to height so they can perform work overhead. If you are moving material, you want a telehandler. If you are doing work at height, you want a boom lift.
We rent to everyone — homeowners, contractors, farmers, and businesses alike. Whether you are tackling a weekend project at home or running a full construction crew, EquipRents has the equipment to get the job done.
